In order to complete the design life cycle traceability, essential data of a closed Review may be pushed back into one or more GENESYS projects it is connected to. Once an administrator initiates a push from Administrative page the following events will take place in GENESYS
-
For each connected GENESYS project, a Review entity is created in the corresponding GENESYS Review root folder. This Review entity represents the closed Review in Sidekick.
-
A Note folder under the GENESYS Note root folder is created using the name and unique identifier for the Sidekick review.
-
For each resolved Originating Comment (OC), a Note entity is created in the Note folder. This Note entity contains the OC text in its “Description” attribute and the decision-reply in its “Decision” attribute.
-
Two relationships are created: Review owns Note and Review generates Note.
-
If the OC comments on a diagram node or edge, or there is no linked Data Object specified within an entity-centric Review Object, a relationship is created in GENESYS: Note comments on [(Review Object) entity].
-
In the event of failures in data push to GENESYS, faults will be displayed in a Sidekick modal. Note that these faults are not saved in the Sidekick database for v1.1. The user will not have access to them after closing the modal.
